We believe that Amazing Grace enhances the health and welfare of the children. Those who attend camp and participate in monthly year-round activities have opportunities to develop greater resiliency, confidence and a healthier, positive outlook on their future. With guidance from trusted mentors, they learn to make positive, productive choices in their young lives.

Amazing Grace activities not only provide joyful memories, but help the children build self-esteem, gain confidence, identify and share their gifts and develop cooperation skills. It is a space where they feel welcomed, appreciated, loved and accepted. They appreciate time away from the routines of everyday life, with peers who share a similar struggle and spend restorative time enjoying the beauty of creation during their camp experiences. Their participation in the camp experience and monthly activities encourages participants to embrace their own creativity, stretch their comfort zone, and develop life skills and offer new supportive friendships.
